Hi, I'm Josh Novak, a Senior Digital Designer, Creative Director, and Product Designer passionate about creating brand identities, responsive websites, and digital products that solve real problems and make a meaningful impact.
Over the past 10+ years, I've partnered with founders, startups, nonprofits, authors, and growing organizations to transform business goals and user needs into thoughtful digital experiences. My work spans brand identity, UX/UI, responsive websites, SaaS platforms, native mobile applications, motion design, video, and creative strategy.
As Co-Founder of The Wavering Line, I lead projects from discovery through launch, collaborating with clients and developers to translate strategy into polished digital experiences. My work combines product thinking, visual design, UX, and technical understanding to create solutions that are intuitive, scalable, and built for the real world.
Alongside client work, I've designed and launched software products including Dayly, a personal finance iOS app, and Makerly, a SaaS platform and companion iOS app built to simplify maker market management.

Outside of work.
When I'm not designing, you'll usually find me exploring new ideas, building side projects, creating pottery, experimenting with technology, or spending time outdoors. I enjoy learning across disciplines and bringing those perspectives back into every project I work on.
